Christmas 1969

Spread the love

Just four months after Woodstock, Christmas arrived in 1969. Let’s take a peak at some of the highlights from this day in history. The President of the United States on December 25th, 1969 was Richard Nixon. If you were listening to the radio this day, you’d probably hear “Someday We’ll Be Together” by Diana Ross and the Supremes as it was the number one single. If you were headed to the movie theater, you could have gone to see The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, directed by Robert Butler and starring a young Kurt Russell. If you were hiding away with a book, you might have been reading the #1 fiction which was The Godfather by Mario Puzo.

What are your memories of Christmas 1969?

While we all think back and reflect, we here at WoodstockStory want to wish you a Merry Christmas for this December 25th 2018. May your day be filled with family and food and many new memories.
